Account signup is now filtered

We've been getting a lot of attempts to sign up to post to the BBS from those who are not NOVAAR members. All account creation requests come to me. I look in the membership list, and if I find that email address, I'll approve the account. Othwerwise I just delete the request. Make sure that Keith has your latest email address. And if you don't hear back after attempting to join the BBS send an email to both of us. Once Keith verifies your membership in NOVAAR, I'll approve your account. Thanks very much for your patience!

Well I'm glad somebody is getting them. I just noticed that my notification was being sent to an account I wasn't checking. That should be fixed now. Thanks Will

We were still getting a lot false registration so I added and additional check. you have to enter a VIP code which is simply NOVAAR's section number. You can find it at http://www.novaar.org if you don't know it.

With the new visual confirmation system with this new version, I'm hoping we no longer need the VIP code, so it is no longer required for registration

People need to make sure that treasurer@novaar.org and secretary@novaar.org have their correct current email address.
